Bell Pottery was founded by the brothers Bell in 1841, in addition to the Forth & Clyde Canal in Glasgow. They make transfer print on white earthenware but soon expanded to China & parian ware. Bell produces a wide range of Chinese transfer printing is becoming very popular with middle-class families from the West of Scotland. Equally, the goods are exported to all over the world. Pottery was in production until 1912.
